Every year, volunteers from across Ireland travel to support our partner programmes around the world. They experience first-hand the impact of housing poverty and help make a lasting difference to families and communities in need. We hope to encourage volunteers to become advocates for safe shelter when they return home; inspiring others to help us reach many more families in need.
Every year churches, schools, companies and other organisations partner with Habitat through global village; putting faith in action; building their teams; allowing people a life changing experience; always helping Habitat build hope. If you would like to build a team please get in touch: gv@habitatireland.org
There are also opportunities for individuals to travel as part of a See Serve Speak team. Volunteers will:
SEE the reality of housing poverty and learn more about Habitat’s impact
SERVE families and communities in need
SPEAK out for the cause of safe, decent housing when they return home
